Imageblog #7 - With Love.

I really feel, for the first time, to have worked with and gotten to know some incredible people. Partly because I, being so lucky as to get the part of Lumieré, who (unlike Beast) gets to interact with so many people.
Lumieré has helped me discover myself and grow so much - more so than The Wizard and Snowboy could ever have. And hopefully, I have fulfilled the role well :')
A production really is something special. A huge number of talented Cempakans (some you didn’t even know existed) come together and produce something magical, that continues to amaze audiences every year. I know I will treasure Beauty and the Beast forever.
Let’s start the dedications! These are for the people I’ve either just met or strengthened bonds with. If you’re not here, I probably already know you well =P Sorry though!
--------------------
Dedications
Sampras - We've really gotten to know each other during the course of the production. You should really get out more - you're a great guy! You can do much more than just Jai Ho :P Don't just restrict yourself to that stuff.
Joanne - Sadly (?) I got to know you only after you graduated..but better late than never! You have so much more in common with Belle than you're willing to admit, haha. See you during lunch!
Andrea - The same as Joanne..only got to know you after you graduated! But I think you're a really great Mrs.Potts =) Over the course of the production you've really got that motherly thing down pat ^_^ Warm, fuzzy and bubbly! Gogo!
Aiman, Lavinia and Ji Lian - I dare say you guys (oops, girls) had some *negative* conceptions about the Silly Girls - (and I think most of them turned out to be true) but you guys (oops, girls) have really warmed up the characters, huh? Despite the wisecracks about being 'in character' and all, you've really made the Silly Girls your own.
Danial - To be honest with you, Danial, at first I really thought Luqman was going to be Le Fou and you Maurice. He just looked a little more the part =P But you've really showed us all how silly you can be act! You make a hilarious Le Fou and you're a great guy yourself. Keep in touch!
Najiha - Hai patung! It's amazing how someone so cute can be the deputy head prefect. Good luck with your knee and, more importantly, life! =3
Ashlyn - You really remind me sooo much of Grace. The funny thing is your voice is deeper than hers. XD Make sure you join future productions!
Bera - Arrr. Bear. >=P Tryggvadotir! See, I spelled it right. ;D Won’t forget you!
Melanie - In your language: "Ohm glab nom nom bloog bla nom!" 'Twas really fun (and painful =P) getting re-acquainted with ya. Try being less violent! Rawr!
Savira - "Vira vira vira! Wrap me" XD You're as cute as your brother! (I mean the younger one >_<) Join more productions or I'll poke you some more!
Wei Qi (Melissa) - Stop getting high on Livita~! Also, thanks for the Mountain Dew, it was awesome :D
Tasha & Stella - Salt and Pepparr! The first time I saw one of you (Stella, I think) learning some steps from Mr.Rodrigo and heard him say something like "your friend is coming tomorrow", I thought "Wow, there's ANOTHER one who can dance like this?" And there was. =O You guys (oops, girls) are the definition of 'fun-sized'. Keep on laughing! And keep on dancing, because you guys are soo talented!
Teachers!! <3
Mr.Kang - I'm glad after two productions I finally learned to 'work' with you, haha. And I don't know why but you're very kind this year (for better or worse)! Thank you for letting me play Lumieré. I'd love to come back next year but meh, SPM. XP Hopefully, I'll see you in the future!
Ms.Judi - Thank you for your incredible confidence in me. Remember this year's CVIC, when you re-did the whole choreography in four hours? You're an amazing choreographer, I've always had so much fun dancing thanks to you =D To be honest, when you told me my dancing has become 'more grounded', I don't really know what you mean. I never loved doing jumps more; I feel like flying! I am forever indebted to you for teaching me to dance.
Ms.Anne - You have my eternal gratitude for the 100 I got for my Standard 6 vocal exam. That's probably what gave me the confidence to join production (or even take up singing)! You've taught me so many things, and got me hooked on Mika! Grrrace Kelly!
Mr.Rodrigo - Aww, this is my first and last production with you. You're the funniest teacher to talk to, and someday I swear I'll learn how to turn 720 degrees in the air like you. And dance ballet. And do backflips. For now, at least we both love cheesecake!
Ms.Joaan - You're like the mother hen of the family; Mrs.Potts could take lessons from you. Thank you for worrying about us so much, for letting me emulate a French accent, and convincing the make up people to lighten up on my lipstick. Oh, and your teamwork games were super fun!
Mr.Scott - My first and last production with you, too! Your sessions were a blast, and you have a great sense of humor. Feel free to take the credit when the audience tells me "you were funny", because most of what provoked their laughter was assisted by you. I think they forgot to include the fine print below "Acting & Speech Coach" saying "Comedy Advisor". Maybe it'll come out in the second book. ;D
--------------------
To quote Ms.Joaan: "The magic comes from you, which means it lives in you, which means it never ends as long as you keep it going."
And to add a little more:
We can sing songs again.
We can learn lines again.
We can dance moves again.
We can meet people again!
And the experience, the magic we shared? It’ll live on in our hearts.
